Saturday November 8th
Arrive to Milan airport and enjoy a private driver to take you to our boutique hotel in the charming city center of Turin: Italy’s gastronomic capital & home to cafes, shops, and charm.
Nestled in the heart of northern Italy, Turin is a city rich in history, brimming with culture, and home to a culinary scene that’s hard to resist. (Just ask Stanley Tucci who highlighted this hidden gem!)
Tired of overcrowded tourist traps? We are too! Turin is your new favorite Italian city perfect for a local, authentic Italian experience. This gorgeous city moves at a more elegant and slower pace that's perfect for vacation exploration.
Turin's glamorous promenades, charming arcaded sidewalks (don’t forget to look up!), and a mix of Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture create a unique charm.
Tonight we'll enjoy a fabulous group kick off dinner and regional wine immersion to get to know your travel buddies for the week and learn about this iconic Italian winemaking region.

Sunday November 9th
Today we'll enjoy a private food tour with Local Expert Elena - a culinary grad from the Slow Foods Academy who helped launch the Eataly brand in the US.
Through Elena we'll enjoy Turin's magnificent monuments, iconic squares, and hidden gems off the beaten path on this engaging tour.
☕ Start in Piazza Castello
We'll start out at one of the city's oldest cafés and savor the best Bicerin (or your choice of hot beverage). Dive into Turin's rich chocolate tradition with a tasting of the famous Giandujotto.
🚶 City Highlights
Stroll along the elegant shopping street Via Roma, visit Piazza Castello, and explore the serene Royal Palace Garden. Admire the exterior of the historic Teatro Regio while hearing fascinating stories and anecdotes about Turin's past. Elena can also point out the best shopping spots to bring home treats!
🌟 Iconic Landmarks
Walk through the charming Piazza Carignano and down the majestic Via Po. Conclude this part of the journey at the renowned Mole Antonelliana, Turin's iconic symbol, and delve into its history.
After a wonderful lunch at a local trattoria you'll have time on your own to shop, explore, or visit the hotel spa.

Monday November 10th
Today we'll check out of our Turin hotel to head into the vineyard filled countryside.
First stop? A family run Barbaresco-region winery for a full tour and wine pairing lunch.
After lunch we'll visit the village of Barbaresco and climb to the top of the medieval Barbaresco Tower, one of the highest in Piemonte, for an incredible view of the Langhe and a toast with Piemonte bubbles!
We'll check into our boutique vineyard stay and enjoy a spectacular 4 course, truffle filled meal at the on premise restaurant.

Tuesday November 11th
Today you're in for a real treat! We'll visit a local farm to enjoy a private White Truffle Hunt; following adorable pups as they sniff out this Piedmontese delicacy.
Next we'll visit the town of Barolo for a stroll and lunch at a local favorite spot. After returning to our hotel to freshen up and relax we'll head to one of the region's most esteemed restaurants for an incredible dinner experience!
Tonight we are joined by a surprise winemaker guest for a dining experience at a world-renowned Michelin-star restaurant.
Get ready for an incredible culinary experience enjoying the company of one of Italy's top winemakers! The meticulously crafted 4-course menu features white truffles and specially paired wines.

Wednesday November 12th
Today we'll visit an organic Hazelnut farm to learn all about this Northern Italian specialty and sample over 15 different gourmet products featuring hazelnuts! (Hint: they go WAY beyond Nutella)
Our lunch will be at a cutting-edge wine establishment called Serralunga Casa Mia. Guided by the owner Luigi, you'll gain insights into the 2025 growing season and harvest while savoring a glass of his Sparkling Nebbiolo. From the terrace, enjoy one of the most breathtaking views in the Langhe.
Indulge in a fun local cheese-tasting and winepairing lunch of the region's most renowned varietals, expertly paired with local delicacies sourced from nearby farms.
Later that afternoon we'll visit a unique woman owned farm to learn to make two kinds of fresh pasta:
1) Traditional Piedmontese Tajarin pasta
2) Stuffed Tortelli, Ravioli, Bottoni, or Cappellacci; filled with seasonal vegetables from the garden and cheeses from small local artisan farms.
We'll enjoy a beautiful farm-to-table 4 course meal along with a unique local Roero Region wine pairing featuring the incredible white Arneis varietal.

Thursday November 13th
Today we'll be welcomed to one of the region's most renowned wineries; a top historical Barolo winery.
The winemaker shares her family’s 100 year history as a pioneer in Barolo wine making. The tasting features an exploration of top Barolo crus. After lunch at a local trattoria we'll enjoy a leisurely stroll through the Barolo village of La Morra, the highest point in the Langhe, with its narrow streets, charming boutique shops, and a panoramic viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the entire Langhe.
That evening we'll enjoy an incredible dining experience in the home of a local winemaker prepared by her husband; a world renowned chef! We'll learn all about their true "living the dream" story as professional winemakers!

Friday November 14th
Kick off the day with a relaxing walk around the impressive Castle of Grinzane Cavour, a medieval landmark perched in the heart of the Langhe. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts stunning views of the surrounding vineyards, which are especially vibrant in the fall with the golden hues of the foliage.
Don’t forget your camera—this is the perfect spot for jaw-dropping photos!
Next we head to the picturesque village of Monforte d'Alba, one of the most enchanting hamlets in the Langhe region. Famous for its medieval architecture and lively atmosphere, Monforte’s historic center is a maze of cobblestone streets and colorful facades, perfect for wandering and soaking in the local charm.
After lunch at a local trattoria we head out for one last incredible winery visit.
Dating back to 1340 - we'll visit one of the most historic family-owned Barolo wineries in the Piedmont! After a guided cellar tour and tasting of the family’s most important labels in their panoramic tasting room we'll end with an exclusive visit to the estate’s majestic Lebanese Cedar Tree, which is seen from every angle of the surrounding Barolo vineyards
Dinner is on your own tonight at our hotel restaurant or we can arrange private drivers to take you into a nearby town.

Saturday November 15th
On this last day of our tour together we'll check out after breakfast and head into the nearby town of Alba for our grand finale....the annual International White Truffle Festival!
Your admission is included and after we enjoy a guided tour of the town and festival you'll have free time to shop for truffle products to bring home as a memory of your time in the Piedmont or some seriously covetable souvenirs!
We'll enjoy a farewell lunch together in Alba before our group transport takes you back to either the Milan airport or Milan city center to continue your travels.
You'll leave the Piedmont with incredible travel memories, heaps of new Italian wine knowledge and plenty of new favorites to enjoy when you return home.

This Piedmont born duo studied at the prestigious Gastronomic Sciences University of Slow Food in Pollenza before launching their international culinary and wine careers. Elena worked in NYC helping the Eataly brand grow in the US before returning home to Turin to share her love of Italian food culture with travelers. Valerio was born into a winemaking family and spent time in NYC working as an Italian Wine Import specialist before returning to the Langhe to specialize in wine experiences and tourism.
This fun-loving duo will be our private guides throughout the week along with Julie; giving you a true local-insider experience of Northern Italy.

That’s a big YES! These tours are specifically designed to be welcoming and fun for people traveling on their own to make new friends. Additionally this is a co-ed group so will be a wonderful mix of singles, couples, and friends.
We’ll host several online meet and greet happy hours ahead of the trip where we’ll get to know each other and Julie will help coordinate a roommate for you for a shared room if needed.
Nope! Just a $500 deposit to secure your spot now and then payments are spread out over the months leading up to the trip. Julie accepts credit cards to make paying for your trip easier too.
We’ll be sending you additional information soon where you can specify a roommate if you sign up for this trip with someone. We’ll also be having online happy hour meet and greets before the trip so we can get to know each other and Julie can help guide you to a wonderful roomie match.
Yes! You’ll be able to specify your specific dietary needs after signing up for the trip so Julie can make sure you’ll have delicious options throughout the tour.
No problem! Julie will help you with her recommended trip interruption insurance through her preferred provider so you can get a refund should something happen that impedes your trip. Please note that to purchase "cancel for any reason" travel insurance you need to purchase your policy right after leaving your first deposit. Some credit cards also offer trip interruption insurance.

Northern Italy in fall is lovely with weather ranging from the 60's during the day to the high 40's at night. No special gear is needed other than a light jacket and comfortable shoes you can wear to tour vineyards and truffle hunt in the woods.
